CSA
Talking Points.
If they are as yet undecided, be persistent but friendly, as
we will want to encourage them to support the bill later in the
process. House members who would like to be a co-sponsor should
contact Representative John Thune (R-SD) or Marcy Kaptur (D-OH)
who are the lead co-sponsors of the Bill.
After speaking with your Representative’s office, you can
repeat the process with your Senators. Ask them to support S.
932 (the CSA’s bill number in the Senate) and tell them that
they can contact Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) or Gordon Smith
(R-OR) if they would like to be a co-sponsor on the bill.
